UUCV Music Director Carolyn Howard at the piano
Music is a vibrant presence at UUCV. We consider the presentation of our music to the congregation not as performance, but as gift-giving, a gift of the spirit that flows through us and our music and is shared with the congregation as we all worship together.

Our Adult choir, instrumental and vocal ensembles, a concert grand piano and our recently formed Children’s Choir add up to some marvelous music making. Director of Music Carolyn Howard coordinates the musical offerings for services. The congregation boasts many creative composers and musicians who contribute and enrich the worship experience in diverse musical on a regular basis.
Sundays are filled with a variety of music. You will hear music that encompasses the traditional and the eclectic, from Classical music to Jazz, Gospel, Broadway and Pop.

Music Group singing during service

The adult choir rehearses every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary and sings twice a month in Sunday services, September through May. This is a non-audition group of very dedicated and enthusiastic and loving singers. Singers of all voice types are welcome at any time during the church year.

Please contact Carolyn Howard or anyone in the choir to find out about joining.
