2015-16 Curriculum: Neighboring Faiths and Building Bridges

 

Middle School kids learn how to do walking meditation
Instruction in meditative practices.

Neighboring Faiths and Building Bridges youth are actively engaged in exploring the faith traditions and practices of other religious groups. Together, leaders and participants plan their program, and determine which religious groups to learn about, to visit, and to find the links between it and their growing Unitarian Universalist faith.

Learning doesn’t just stay in the classroom. As part of monthly field trips, children visit other places of worship in the area, such as Jewish and Christian groups, non-Western religions, and a different UU congregation.
